User Status

The OnLAN Messenger service allows you to keep track of the status of all registered users.

Users, not logged in to OnLAN Messenger are assigned the "offline" status.

Users, at their workstations with their computers switched on and logged in to OnLAN Messenger are assigned the "online" status.

Online users who have gone into inactive mode (by default, after 20 minutes of being idle), have their screensavers activated, or have had their workstation blocked are assigned the "inactive" status.

Persons, who are registered in the database as e-mail contacts always maintain the "offline" status.

Depending on the user's status, his/her name will be colored with:
- red - for offline;
- blue - for online;
- grey - for inactive.

You can change the font color settings in the "General" tab of the "Settings" menu.
